Division II – Research

Division II – Research is responsible for the University’s research and excellence strategy. We are also a central contact point for national and international researchers seeking information on funding programs, business liaisons, patents and startups.

• We advise researchers on funding programs, applying for grants and eligibility for research awards.
• We offer advice and support to researchers in matters pertaining to patents and founding businesses and we promote cooperation with industry and other research institutions.
• We coordinate the implementation and further development of the Excellence Strategy at the University.
• We support international researchers who are guests at the University of Tübingen and assist them before and during their stay.
