Summary

The perception and transduction of light signals play an essential role in integrating developmental and adaptive processes in plants, involving complex regulatory mechanisms. In TP C03, alternative mRNA splicing patterns in response to altered light conditions will be investigated. Furthermore, the biological significance of selected light-dependent alternative splicing events linked to genes with functions in light regulation, such as photoreceptors and certain transcription factors, will be analyzed.
