Abtract:
This contribution aims to answer the following questions: How does digitization change the public welfare and its concerns through mediated public communication? Which role do the relations of responsibility between the different actors play?
The central terms of this topic are explicated and feasible aims and criteria are worked out based on the ascertainment that dealing with normative expectations like responsibility and public welfare is of minor significance in the communication science and on the assumption that the dynamics of digitization is challenged to develop new taxonomies for the ethics of the digital society.
