Colloquium: Perspectives in Educational Science

On June 24, 2013, LEAD invites together with the Department of Adult Education/Further Education, the Department of Psychology and the Knowledge Media Research Center to a Colloquium on "Perspectives in Educational Science: Interdisciplinary Research in Tübingen".

Currently, there are three initiatives in Tübingen for Educational Science: the Research Group "Analysis and Promotion of Effective Processes of Learning and Instruction", the ScienceCampus "Informational Environments" and the LEAD Graduate School of Excellence.

This concentration of expertise at the site of Tübingen has created a research context that equally benefits from the diversity and the use of synergies. The next development will be the joint platform "Knowledge and Education". It seeks to create an overarching structure that brings together what has been achieved so far and provides synergies for innovative research perspectives. The aim is to promote scientific exchange, to initiate new research projects and to promote outstanding young scientists.
