Detmar Meurers explains how the tutoring system FeedBook can help students improve their English

Computer linguist and LEAD member Detmar Meurers explains in an interview with DIE ZEIT how the tutoring system FeedBook can help students improve their English: "FeedBook works with artificial intelligence methods, drawing its own conclusions about the learner's abilities. It gives immediate supportive feedback when mistakes are made and adapts to the student's learning level. Our study with ten classes of the seventh grade showed that English performance was significantly better with FeedBook than without."
