RDMO features

Main Function and Users

With RDMO, you answer questions about all aspects of your research data management using structured questionnaires – from data collection through storage and backup to archiving and publication. RDMO automatically generates a data management plan in various formats from your answers. RDMO is primarily aimed at research projects that require a formal data management plan – particularly for grant applications (DFG, EU projects, etc.) or when required by the institutio

Discipline-Specific Questionnaires

RDMO offers a selection of questionnaires that meet specific disciplinary requirements, institutional guidelines, or funding regulations. This allows discipline-specific characteristics or requirements of particular funding agencies to be taken into account.

Task Planning

Within a DMP, one can define specific research data management tasks, schedule them and track their completion.

Collaborative Work

RDMO enables multiple people to collaborate on a data management plan. Various project participants (e.g., project management, data managers, IT support) can work together on the planning and assume different roles.
