The Baden-Württemberg Foundation has published a new call "Quantum science of molecular systems". In 2019 the Baden-Württemberg Stiftung started the network QTBW, intended to lay foundations for future applications in Quantum Technology. The new research programme “Quantum science of molecular systems” should carry on, strengthen and expand the existing network. Synergies and cooperations should be reinforced by connecting to research in chemistry of molecular systems and integrating specialized scientists active in this field. The research programme should open research in a new and innovative field in Baden-Württemberg, covering manifold and interdisciplinary basic research with high application potential.
Projects should be carried out as cooperative projects. Due to the topic of this call, an interdisciplinary approach with the participation of at least one partner in physics and one in chemistry is required and mandatory.
Project duration should not exceed 3 years. For the whole research programme, the Foundation provides up to 3.6 Million Euro. Personal and materials costs will be financed; investment costs only in well-justified exceptional cases.
Applications have to be handed in with approval by the President's Office. For this reason, I am asking for expressions of interest until 7 January 2025 at nathalie.walkerspam prevention@uni-tuebingen.de Expressions of interest should include:
- a short description of the project (1-2 pages)
- a rough financial plan
- CVs of the applicants (max. 2 pages per CV)
Please note: Research conducted on behalf of the BW Foundation is contract research, which means that all rights to the results are reserved by the Foundation.
