Individual counseling for international students (degree-seeking) and prospective students

Counseling for international students is of course confidential, i.e. the counseling is subject to professional discretion. In our counseling sessions, we focus on your individual concerns and issues related to your studies, and we develop with you appropriate solutions and strategies for your personal situation. Furthermore, our counseling is neutral and open-ended.

You can get in touch with us in an uncomplicated way. We offer different counseling formats (e.g. counseling without an appointment or with an appointment), depending on the topic, the question or the time required. If necessary, follow-up appointments can also be arranged to a certain extent.

Dear freshmen, dear students, dear prospective students,

We are here to help you with all your questions, uncertainties and issues concerning your studies.

Starting on Monday, 01 August 2022, we will again offer open office hours on campus. Due to vacations, the office hours are not held from 15 to 26 August 2022.

Otherwise, our consultation takes place by appointment on site, by phone or by video (DFN). Appointments are usually made by e-mail or by phone during our office hours.

If you are unable to reach us by phone, please e-mail us and we will usually respond within 3-4 business days.

Prospective students are kindly asked to check themselves if they meet the admission requirements in the DAAD database before the counseling session. If in doubt, please contact the application advisors.

Counseling is primarily aimed at students and prospective students who wish to obtain a degree in Tübingen. Exchange students please contact the Incoming Team.
