The Faculty of Protestant Theology at the University of Tübingen invites applications for the
Professorship of Systematic Theology with a focus on Ethics (m/f/d)
to commence as soon as possible.
The successful candidate will represent theological ethics in research and teaching and should have authored a very good doctoral or habilitation thesis or other publications in this field. The holder of the position is expected to have a proven track record in an area of applied ethics. In teaching, representation of the entire area of Systematic Theology is expected. The willingness to cooperate with adjacent subjects within the department (Dogmatics, Philosophy of Religion) and in the faculty, to support the Campus of Theologies, and to acquire third-party funding is required.
Required qualifications include a PhD or equivalent degree as well as postdoctoral qualifications and teaching experience equivalent to the requirements of a full professorship.
