The latest edition of Nature Plants features a study by Tubingen researchers into the highly complex transport processes within plant cells. Researchers from the Center for Plant Molecular Biology used a novel new method to explain a central component involving the movement of proteins - by which plant cells communicate and respond to environmental influences and attack by pests.
