This program area deals with the great challenges facing planet Earth. These include climate change, food security, conservation of natural resources, alternatives to fossil fuels, protection of the oceans, fisheries, agriculture and forestry, and the bio-economy

The following topics are listed in the work program:

  1. Water, land and resilience to Climate Change
  2. Transition to a bio-circular economy
  3. Support of functional ecosystems as well as sustainable food systems and a healthy lifestyle
  4. Innovations for new products, value chains and markets for water and land
  5. Developing smart, connected and value-added chains in rural and coastal areas.

Open calls and access to online submission

  1.  Go to "H2020" in the left menu bar and then narrow down your search in the left-hand selection field. The corresponding open calls will then be displayed.

  2. To apply, click directly on the title of the call. Scroll down until you reach the "Start Submission" button.
