The Narrenzunft Rottenburg a. N. (Fool’s Guild of Rottenburg) was founded in 1925 and has since played a key role in organizing the Rottenburg Fasnet - a traditional carnival whose roots date back to the Middle Ages. As early as the 19th century, various local associations, most notably the gymnastics club (Turnverein), were actively involved in keeping this vibrant tradition alive.

Today, the Narrenzunft is a well-established and lively institution in the beautiful city of Rottenburg. Through its many groups and events, it makes an important contribution to community life and to preserving regional traditions. Every year, the Fasnet - and especially the grand parade - attracts thousands of spectators and participants who joyfully celebrate the colorful and exuberant festivities.
