Student appeals Procedure (examination law)

Which procedural steps and responsibilities are relevant for you in a student appeal procedure? When can you contact Department III.1? We will advise you on your procedure.

The individual procedural steps and responsible contact persons are described and defined in the procedural guideline »Student appeals in matters of examination law at the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen«

In case of an appeal against the decision of the examination board, it will first be reviewed by the examination board itself and evaluated taking into account the objections of the student(s).

If the board of examiners decides that it will not resolve the objection, it forwards the objection to Dept. III1. Here the objection will be reviewed again and a decision (notice of objection) will be prepared and initiated by the Prorector. If the student subsequently files a complaint with the administrative court against the decision of the prorector, this administrative court procedure will continue to be conducted by the legal staff of Department III1.

For all your questions on this topic, the team of Dept. III 1 advises and supports you.
