Paper "Non-Standard-Errors"

The Tübingen economists Jantje Sönksen, Joachim Grammig and Thomas Dimpfl are co-authors of the first "Crowd-Sourced Empirical Paper in Economics/Finance".

A total of 100 research teams, some of which are made up of world-leading scientists in the field of finance, took part in this project. The task was to test hypotheses on the same data set and to write a short paper on the results in each case. The results have now been summarized in a working paper, of which the three Tübingen researchers are among the co-authors. The paper is entitled "Non-Standard Errors" and highlights a previously unconsidered, considerable source of uncertainty regarding the validity of (economic) hypotheses.
