CRC Touring Exhibition "Temple Tax and Dove Handlers"

We are delighted that the CRC’s touring exhibition has begun its travels. The exhibition offers visitors the opportunity to experience a virtual reconstruction of the Herodian Temple, which was destroyed in AD 70. In this exhibition project, the Collaborative Research Centre Different Aesthetics (Prof. Stefan Krmnicek and Prof. Michael Tilly) have worked alongside the Tübingen Digital Humanities Centre the Tübingen software developer, Luca Dreiling.

The following locations have thus far been planned:

19.01 – 26.02.2024: The Archaeological Museum of Münster University

23.05 – 12.07.2024: The Archaeological Collection of the Friedrich Schiller University of Jena

20.08-15.09.2024: Bible House Experience Museum, Frankfurt am Main

21.09-30.11.2024: Coin Cabinet and Antiquity Collection of Winterthur – The Museum of the Cultural History of Money

05.10.2024: The Money Museum of the Austrian National Bank (in the context of the ‘Long Night of the Museums 2024’)
