Writing Consultations for Students and Doctoral Candidates
Are you wondering how to narrow down your topic? Are you looking for tips on how to structure your paper or find the right wording? Do you want to get neutral feedback or do you feel like you've lost track of your text's main points? Whether you're preparing for an exam, a presentation or creating an academic poster, we are the right place for your questions related to academic writing and the writing process.
During our writing consultations, we will work together to find answers to your specific questions and support you in developing solutions that work for you and your writing process.
Open Consultation Hours
The open consultation hours are primarily intended to answer shorter questions about academic writing and provide spontaneous feedback.
Dates:
Mondays: 11:00 am to 1:00 pm
Tuesdays: 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Wednesdays: 11:00 am to 1:00 pm
Thursdays: 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Location: University Library (in the 'cube' next to the information desk in the Ammerbau (level 3))
No prior registration necessary. Just drop by.
Individual Consultations
Our individual consultations offer time and space to discuss more complex questions and provide detailed feedback. To schedule an appointment, please contact us via email. We'll get back to you to schedule a convenient time for the writing consultation.
Consultations are available in both German and English, and can be conducted in person, via video conference, or over the phone.
