- English language skills (see next field for details)
- International applicants without a German-language university entrance qualification must prove German language skills (see next field for details)
- The languages of study and examination in the Master's program are English, and, to a smaller extent, German (elective classes).

Program details
The master's program in Evolution and Ecology imparts knowledge on the origin, evolution and maintenance of complex, biological systems in time (current - historical) and space (local - global) and integrates processes from the genetic level to the organism and biocenosis. Basic synthetic principles as well as applied, environmentally relevant aspects are taught. At the core of the program is an in-depth scientific examination of the evolution of organisms and the importance of their interactions in their environment.
Languages of study are German and English.
