Wild bees

Wild bees are pecies-rich pollinators of wild and crop plants, bees are indispensible for a functioning natural balance but are now threatened to a large extent in their existence.

Especially botanical gardens offer through their large plant wealth and the habitat varieties created ideal conditions for many wild bee species.

Even after the "Wild Bee Summer" in 2010, interested visitors can find out more about the fascinating way life and the diversity of wild bees in the Tübingen Botanical Garden at the Wild Bee Station and several information boards.
