In-house job interviews contribute to human resource development at the university. In terms of working hours, however, a distinction must be made as to whether or not the application is discussed openly.
Provided that one tells one’s supervisor that one is going to an interview at another internal position, it constitutes working time.
However, if you do not want to disclose your participation in a job interview, it does not count as working time. In this case, supervisors don’t know what their employees are doing during this time.
