Museum of Ancient Cultures - a guided tour to the highlights

Discover the fascinating diversity of human cultural history on an exclusive guided tour in English through the highlights of the Museum of Ancient Cultures at Hohentübingen Castle.

As part of the Museum of the University of Tübingen (MUT), this unique institution is the only university museum in the world that houses objects representing two UNESCO World Heritage sites. Experience the world’s oldest figurative artworks and musical instruments, the oldest giant wine cask ever built, remarkable finds from the UNESCO World Heritage pile dwellings, as well as extraordinary artifacts from Egypt, Mesopotamia, and the South Pacific.

We look forward to guiding you through millennia of human culture!
