Laura Dierksmeier won the University of Tübingen ‘Promotion of Junior Researchers Grant’ in July 2023 - for the second time after 2019 -  with a project entitled "Historical Adaptations to Water Scarcity on Small Islands.”

The fellowship will enable her to fund further studies in the important and socially relevant field of the history of water scarcity on small islands, focusing not only on European islands but also on islands in Africa and the Philippines.
