Harald Baayen: 2.8 million euros for linguistic research

Research group to be continued

The DFG research group FOR 2373 on 'Spoken Morphology', in which LEAD member Harald Baayen is involved with a project, will receive 2.8 million euros in funding for further three years. This has now been approved by the German Research Foundation (DFG). The research group, which has been in existence since October 2015, is headed by English linguist Ingo Plag. The Heinrich Heine University of Düsseldorf, which is in charge of the project, is involved in the research group with five subprojects, another subproject is located at the MPI for Psycholinguistics in Nijmegen.
