In an era where video conferencing has become a staple of education and professional life, a new publication offers a much-needed framework for understanding and improving online presentation skills. The article, titled "Online presentations for instruction: An overview", was recently published in Frontiers in Education by Ruth et al. (2025), with LEAD Member Dr. Fabian Ruth and Dr. Carmen Lipphardt as authors. It offers a first overview of online presentation competence from an interdisciplinary perspective, combining rhetoric, psychology, and educational research.
