Marcel Kremser from GRK 2381 Project 5 (PI: Gawaz) attended the “2nd Cardiovascular Disease Symposium of the IRTG 1902 and SFB 1116 in Düsseldorf” and was awarded for the best poster in the category “Audience Favorite”. His research presented on the poster demonstrates the importance of platelet-derived PCSK9 in promoting platelet-dependent thrombosis and thrombo-inflammation and its possible contribution to dyslipoproteinemia. Valerie Dicenta, a first-year- doctoral fellow in our GRK, was a co-author.
