Our colleague Dilectiss Liu (Philosophy) presented on October 11-19, 2018 his paper in progress at the VIU seminar on Ethics & AI.

Our colleague Dilectiss Liu (Philosophy) presented on October 11-19, 2018 his paper in progress on the justification of machine learning methods in the face of epistemic opacity at the VIU seminar on Ethics & AI. He has received numerous fruitful comments and suggestions on how to improve the paper. He has also exchanged some thoughts on various other topics with Ned Block from NYU and Ophelia Deroy from LMU.
