Guest talk Prof. Marisa Bortolussi and Prof. Peter Dixon (University of Alberta, Canada)

On Thursday, 21^th July Prof. Marisa Bortolussi and Prof. Peter Dixon (University of Alberta, Canada) gave a talk titled "Ambiguity: An Empirical Approach" at the RTG 1808. Generally speaking, the talk reflected on how one can study ambiguity in literature empirically. The talk focused on the problem of ambiguity in narratorial stance, especially the features of a text that are likely to influence how readers resolve (or do not resolve) ambiguity in narratorial stance.
