Thomas Wasow (Stanford Unversity) at the RTG

From February 26 to March 3 2015, Tom Wasow of Stanford University visited the RTG 1808 in Tübingen. On February 27, he gave a talk about the topic “Why Is Language So Ambiguous?”. On March 2, he gave a tandem presentation together with RTG member Wiltrud Wagner on “The Ambiguity of Idioms”. During his stay, Tom Wasow was happy to offer consultation to all the RTG members who were interested in an interview with him. This offer was frequently used and appreciated by the RTG members.
