After the successful pilot project during the last year, the seminar "What is globalization?" is offered again in summer semester 23. This seminar is an E-Learning course in the format of a serious game. Students will explore the history of four cities in their global context, four academic institutions, and the biographies of the authors read.
This project is a partnership with the Master Profile Digital Humanities and the Center for Teaching and Learning. Together we have developed a virtual world trip in a serious game format to teach and discuss the basics of the globalization debate. This seminar will be credited in the compulsory area of the Global Awareness Certificate or the certificate Entrepreneurship & Business.

"Reconstitution of Global South Epistemologies: [Un]Telling of Difficult Stories" mit Ndumiso Ncube, Ph.D. Candidate (University of Pretoria/ IGCSS)
All five seminars are interdisciplinary courses on current issues discussed from the perspective of the Global South. Registration for these seminars is done via alma. The credit points earned in these seminars can be counted towards elective (a) Thematic Courses of the Global Awareness Certificate.
The experience of past semesters has reinforced the interest of many students in the workshop in partnership with the Diversity-Oriented Writing Center. As a result, it will be offered on a regular basis. In summer semester 2023. Registration is available via alma. The credit points earned in this workshop can be counted toward elective (b) Inter- unt Transcultural Fields of Action of the Global Awareness Certificate.
