Celebrate Pride Month 2024 With Us!
This year, the University of Tübingen and the city of Tübingen will prepare a joint program. Monique Scheer, Vice-President for International Affairs and Diversity, invites you to contribute your ideas.
Dear students, researchers, educators, staff, and alumni,
June is Pride Month! The goal is to celebrate the history, culture, and importance of the LGBTQIA+ community at the university and in the city, to address discrimination, provide education, and promote solidarity.
We would like to offer a rich program at our university, so I warmly invite you to contribute to Pride Month 2024 by organizing such things as:
• Lectures
• (Guest) talks
• Panel discussions
• Film screenings with discussions and Q&A sessions
• Networking meetings for researchers
• Workshops to raise awareness and prevent discrimination
• Exhibitions
• Information booths
Students who wish to get involved can, as usual, submit funding requests to the Student Union (https://www.stura-tuebingen.de/downloads/, „Antragsformular für Anträge an den Studierendenrat”) to finance their activities.
All planned events will be announced on the University of Tübingen's website and communicated through the university's social media channels.
