Unseld Lecture on rationality and emotions
Neuroscientist António Damásio debates with Tübingen academics at the University of Tübingen’s FORUM SCIENTIARUM
One of the world’s most influential neuroscientists, António Damásio, will speak on “the Neurobiology of Emotions and Feelings” at the University of Tübingen’s FORUM SCIENTIARUM, 3 June. Damásio’s work on the neural representation of emotions and their role in decision-making are widely discussed in many different scientific fields. Damásio says that merely imagining something can lead to an emotional reaction.

- Public debate: 4 June 8:15 pm Audimax, Neue Aula (Geschwister-Scholl-Platz) “Rationality and Emotions” – debate between António Damásio, Professor Sabine Döring (Philosophy, University of Tübingen) and Professor Niels Birbaumer (Medical Psychology, University of Tübingen).
