Career Day 2025 - A day full of opportunities and encounters

Under the motto ‘PLAY - TALK - EAT - CHILL - CONNECT’, over 1,500 students came to the Paul Horn Arena for Career Day and experienced a day focussed entirely on their professional future.

On 13 May 2025, Career Day took place in the Paul Horn Arena in Tübingen. Over 1,500 students took the opportunity to talk to potential employers and make plans for their professional future in a relaxed and sporty atmosphere.

Our TRACS team was also there in full force: our TCP Bachelor & Civic Engagement, TCP Master and Global Awareness Education areas explained our wide range of offers to the numerous students at the stand, while our Career Service provided brief counselling sessions, checked application portfolios and offered the “elevator pitch”.

As part of our ‘Come to Stay’ project, a group of international students was also specially prepared for the Career Day and accompanied and coached during the fair.

On this day, students were able to make contact with over 80 companies and organisations and find out about internships, volunteering, trainee positions and direct entry opportunities.

Another highlight was the alumni talk round, in which former students of the University of Tübingen reported on their experiences during the transition from studying to working life and gave the audience valuable tips.

Numerous student groups and institutions from the university were also represented, including the Startup Centre Tübingen, the university's Alumni Office, the Praxisportal and the Central Student Advisory Service.

The day was rounded off with a free-throw competition and a gaming lounge with great prizes, which provided additional fun. Pizza, crêpes, soft ice cream and drinks were also on offer.

We would like to thank all participants and supporters for their contribution to this special day and are already looking forward to the next Career Day!
