Family Life on Campus

Our Family-friendly spaces give parents the opportunity to bring their children with them when studying. There are multiple study and work rooms that are family friendly at the University of Tübingen, such as:

Morgenstelle 16, Hörsaalzentrum, Room 3 E 06

The family room is available to all students and employees with children for studying and working, breastfeeding and diaper changing, eating and playing together, as well as for taking breaks. If needed, the room can also be used as a resting space during pregnancy.

The family room includes a kitchenette with a microwave, cooking and dining utensils, a sofa, a changing table, a table and chairs, as well as toys for children of all ages.

The room's furnishings were made possible by neurobiologist Lena Veit, who donated her prize money for this purpose.

Important: A one-time registration is required before using the family room. Your student/staff card will only be activated for access after registration.

Reservations for the family room can be made via the ZDV Webmail Family Room Calendar. Access to this calendar will be granted once you have registered for use of the family room.
