Mentorship Programs

Mentoring is a proven tool for individual and sustainable career planning. It offers qualified and motivated young professionals advice and targeted support in their professional and personal development. Specifically, the mentor imparts valuable knowledge, skills and perspectives and creates access to career-relevant networks. Through individual support, the mentee is enabled to name his/her development goals and to fully exploit his/her area of potential. In contrast to coaching, mentors have specific expertise and internal knowledge and can thus provide mentees with targeted support on their career path. The University of Tübingen offers various programs to place young scientists with experienced mentors from academia, business, or the public sector.
