THE LAW OF CHOCOLATE

The law of chocolate: thou shalt not leave Rittersport without a 2Kg bag.
We had the pleasure of visiting the Rittersport factory and what an amazing experience it was! It felt like a scene from Charlie in the chocolate factory.
What I found interesting is how the exhibitions display not only the history and the making of chocolate as well as the various ingredients, but also the other tidbits of history that were exhibited as well. Mr Rittersport, sorry if we caused your mini chocolate delivery truck to be overworked- it was simply an interesting and entertaining display plus who ever says no to free chocolate?
The movie to show the production of the chocolate was also interesting. Normally, I'm not interested or phased by the technical aspects of it all but this specific video was explained in a manner quite easily digestible and I appreciate that. Furthermore, I have never seen chocolate being made it was quite the entertainment to see what transpires before chocolate reaches the stores.
Speaking of stores! Absolutely fantastic- that is how I would describe the time spent in the chocolate store. It was quite amusing to me how ordinarily in shops I'd be so cautious to not overspend but not on that day! I think I must have bought enough chocolate to fill up my entire cabin baggage (covers face in shame). I like the way the chocolate is presented and it was just great to have seen the production starting with the cocoa bean straight to the final product.
