PHILOSPHY SEMINAR

by Tsaone John

The philosophy lecture was given to us by Dr Klaus Müller-Richter. Such a great lecturer. His lecture was focused on one of the German philosophers Immanuel Kant on the topic Faith and Knowledge. He started by giving us a brief background about the great German philosopher and then he went on to breaking down the topic for us and at the same time he was engaging us, asking us questions and even allowing us to ask him questions. The seminar or lecture was an interactive one and very much interesting. Dr Klaus was open minded, he listened to our opinions and views regarding some things he was teaching us about.  I remember we were arguing about rationality and also about what drives people nowadays what are they motivated about. It was so wunderbar.

HOW I FELT ABOUT THE LECTURE/SEMINAR

Well i was pretty much excited about the seminar, I guess maybe this is because i study Theology and under that we have philosophy modules. Philosophy is such an interesting topic that challenges a person to really think and the fact that I was going to learn about it from someone different from my lecturers back at home made it even more interesting. I wanted to hear the views of a different person, different mind regarding some things under philosophy and it was such a great opportunity to be able to talk to Dr Klaus Müller-Richter and to even listen and learn from him.  I really enjoyed the seminar and I can bet that everyone is else did like come on who cannot enjoy philosophy.

DAS  SEMINAR HAT MIR SEHR GUT GEFALLEN.

But then now besides the philosophy seminar, Germany  (Tübingen) was such a great experience, I really enjoyed my time here and I am so thankful for the opportunity that I was given just to come here and learn about the German culture. I really learned a lot and I loved everything especially my host family. I had the best host mum. I am going to miss her and Germany also THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING. DANKE FÜR ALLES .
