Summary:

The light and electron microscopy unit collaborates with many groups of the CRC 1101. We offer a broad range of light and electron microscopy-related methods and technologies. This enables us to determine the subcellular localization of proteins with high spatial resolution, to investigate the dynamic behavior of proteins in vivo and to analyze specific structures such as the stromules from chloroplasts by 3D visualization at the electron microscopic level. In addition, we use single-molecule spectroscopy to provide important in planta insights into the interactions between proteins.
