Summary

TP D05 studies the two closely related LRR-RLKs, FLS2 and EFR. Both proteins function as immunoreceptors that detect distinct bacterial ligands and play roles in host defense. The project aims at identifying the molecular receptor determinants that specify ligand recognition, interaction with co-receptors like BAK1 and the type of cytoplasmic response output.
