Summary
The TGN/EE is the starting point for the selective recycling of vacuolar sorting receptors (VSRs) via the retromer complex and the ESCRT (endosomal sorting complex required for transport)-mediated degradation of membrane proteins. TP A03 investigates the fundamental molecular mechanisms of these sorting processes and their relevance for function, dynamic and morphology of the endosomal compartments.
