Summary
Project B03 investigates the influence of light on leaf patterning. Patterning factors that are known to be involved in controlling ad-/abaxial patterning play additional roles in the shade avoidance response pathway. It is conceivable that the role of these patterning factors is to synchronize growth processes with the environment. This project aims to investigate the molecular events governing these „adaptive patterning“processes.
