Summary
The activity of two closely related proteins, the light-regulated activator of flowering FT and the floral repressor TFL1, coordinates the induction of new flower primordia on the flanks of the shoot apical meristem. TP B04 will investigate the molecular and structural basis of the antagonistic function of these two proteins in regulating the transition to flowering, taking into account their interaction with the bZIP transcription factor FD and 14-3-3 proteins.
