Summary
TP B06 investigates the regulatory network of plant senescence. Senescence is a developmental process which can be significantly modulated by abiotic and biotic stress conditions. In order to reach this plasticity incoming endogenous or exogenous signals have to be integrated continuously. One node of convergence in this network is the transcription factors WRKY53. In this project, regulatory factors influencing expression and activity of WRKY53 will be characterized and integrated into the regulatory network of senescence.
