Summary

TP C01 investigates factors that regulate the biogenesis and activity of either a subset of miRNAs or of all miRNAs in response to endogenous or environmental stimuli. Specific emphasis is placed on a comparison of the spectrum of longer RNAs that are bound by different miRNA biogenesis proteins. The hypothesis to be tested is that distinct spectra of bound RNAs are responsible for the differences in the effects of these factors on adaptation to the environment and plant development.
